Like Soccermanager, this is a soccer management game based on real life players.
Unlike Soccermanager, it is much more multi-dimensional, due to many skills contributing to the overall 'Judgement', grading from World Class, to Superstar, Star, Superb, Very Good, Good, Fairly Good, Decent, Fairly Decent, Average, etc.
The players can be trained simply under the categories, First Team, Reserve Team, Youth Team, Goalkeeper, Fitness or Rest. By training the players, positive influences may result in the Judgement of the player moving up, until a cap which is the player's maximum potential, based on a system used based on real life performances.
Very good game, after about 1-2 weeks at the game. I currently manage Game World 89 French League side Rennes, currently under me managing 2 league wins and 1 league draw, moving up to 6th.
Unlike Soccermanager, the game also follows the real life format well. The top teams in each league, following the rules for qualification for European tournaments, will participate in the elite Champions Cup (Real life named UEFA Champions League), and the Europa Cup (Europa League?). Some developments are still being carried out, leading to the Europa Cup name not yet used entirely; instead still called UEFA Cup, the real life current name.
My favourite player, favourite striker, favourite footballer, favourite sportsman, is Thierry Henry!!!!! Absolutely divine, world-class player.

My friends Yongrui and Seng Peing are also in the game, in the French League with me in Game World 89! But you might not be able to get a team in the French League now because most remaining unmanaged teams are 4star teams, and newcomers start the game only able to manage teams of 3 stars and below.
Positive match results will accumulate in the form of Manager Points, (not to be mixed with Experience Points, which are awarded for exploring features and doing things in the game) till a point where the manager can finally manage higher level teams.
The best teams, like Arsenal FC (GUNNERS!) and FC Barcelona, are 6star teams.
