Back in 08

Hello. It's 2008. Around a week has passed since my last post.

Firstly, I would like to comment about the English FA Cup. Amazingly, there are so many shocks in the 3rd round. Championship and League One sides defeating some decent EPL sides.

Most notably, Oldham's win over high-flying Everton and Blackburn's 1-4 loss despite fielding a strong side, to who? I can't even remember.

Credit to these teams who believe. At least the best sides in England prevails, with Chelsea edging past QPR albeit a little undeservingly, and Manchester United beating a strong Aston Villa of the EPL.

I believe Arsenal will win comfortably with some of their first-team players set to play, in order to send a fresh second-team to face Tottenham in the League Cup a few days later.

Oh yeah, it was Coventry who thrashed Blackburn. Notably, they were the team that knocked Manchester United out of the League Cup.

And back to the issue, it seems as though Arsenal's Championship opponents are better than Tottenham. If Arsenal win both matches, it would be extremely sweet. Against their bitter London rivals.

So, all the best for Arsenal. And hoping things get much much better for Thierry Henry at Barcelona.
